Flimsy, but less expensive than metal. Really flimsy. Carbon Fiber / Plastic / ABS? Who knows.Does not stay in place unless really careful not to disturb it, when taking a reading. Slides around too easily. Metal ones may have spring loaded sliding mechanism – more convenient.Came in an Amazon box, with bubble wrap. But at least the product box is solid (somewhat).Came with:- Spare battery – LR44.- Depth measuring piece at the tail end.- mm inch reading option.- ON / OFF switch.- ZERO-ing button.Battery compartment is visible in the picture.Have to be careful where & how I store it, and handle it. Too easily damaged, me thinks.

Actual product was different than the image! Not good quality and accuracy. Accuracy and build quality is poor, price is on higher side. Not recommended

random numbers Zero and on off buttons do not work either. The media could not be loaded. Random changing numbers and Zero button on off button do not work. Want to returnEdit1: I changed the battery (LR44 / AG13) with the spare one provided and it started working properly. So i cancelled the return / replace request. Everything seems to be working well enough, sometimes the readings jump to -5 mm, but we can use the zero button. It is Flimsy Plastic, but OK for the money !

Excellent. I purchased A vernier Caliber from a different supplier it was really horrible not upto the mark.But This one is very accurate and precise. And even the supplier sent 2 numbers extra batteries, I’m really happy and I strongly recommend only thing it is out of plastic. Ok for the price

Reasonable vernier caliper – does the job. Does a reasonable job of a vernier calliper. Although a little cheap build. The product is made entirely of plastic and I would have preferred a stainless steel one. But otherwise does a decent job. The digital display is good and displays out the measurement accurately.
