Very good mid level printer. The media could not be loaded. Pros:1. Sturdy packaging, timely hassle free delivery2. Large size, very high speed (video: 40% of max speed ie 200mm/s).3. Wifi, Lan, USB (a and c types)4. Touch screen GUI panel5. Gantry mounted rear cooling port6. Magnetic flex build plate7. Filament run out detection.8. Accessories: wifi antenna, lan cord, usb pen drives, tools, extra nozzle, nozzle cleaning needle and some pla filament9. Slicing software by Elegoo built upon Cura 4.8 (ver 5.6 in website)10. Vibration auto tune, assisted + 36 pt auto levelling in firmware11. Max hotend temp upto 300C, ceramic hot end with very less heat up time.Cons:1. Needs some cable management.2. X axis gantry fans are loud.3. Steppers use software limits (no limit switches)4. Large footprint5. Spool holder on top (it can’t be enclosed it in a box)6. No linear rails7. Not enclosed8. Setting up will need additional hands9. Price point can be a turn off for first time printer buyers.(Edit) 10. X axis end stop hits somewhat loudly, and causes the extruder wire to get warped as it also hits the gantry. One might want to fix an offset of 6mm to avoid this (TPU would eliminate this loud noise)11. Large bed needs quite some time to get a good level even with auto levelling.I am writing this in comparison with my other printer (FabX Pro from ReddX Technologies). Faster and larger (and cheaper!). Benchy printed straight out of the box using default slicer settings and after bed levelling is pretty good (good bridging with some stringing). Net interface uses moonraker (am totally new to this). Printer will not need much calibration instead letting you focus more on designing things (unlike my earlier one). In short, Elegoo has paid a lot of attention to details right to the point of including notched allen keys so one can manage bolts at tight angles (which one will find during set up). Now that’s a good designer….Cheers to them!
